I created an agent recently with the Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder and was having a load of hastle sharing it with some colleagues. I was getting the below error.
This error sent me down a huge rabbit hole of documentation about how agents are shared and deployed. I must say Copilot does a great job of making this so complicated, I guess that it the trade off when you need to be able to have enterprise level governance.
In my case however the problem was simpler. I had shared my agent with the link to my colleague as shown below. What id done wrong thou was I missed that id put a security group for users to be in to access the agent.
While I was off investigating various obscure policies in the teams admin centre and in entra etc it was just a case that the user wasnt in the group and the error message was not clear.
Hope this saves someone else an hour or 2.
